The Burnshield Contour Dressing is a cotton based half body dressing.  The cotton dressing is soaked in a sterile trauma hydrogel made from Tea Tree Oil and Purified water which is supplied in a foil pouch.  It can be used to treat minor burns and scalds.  The Hydrogel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat minimising skin damage.  When dry the gel becomes clear to allow for the monitoring of wound progression.  It is non stick so won't adhere to the wound.
